Nice, easy light deadlift session to get back in the swing of things after my break. Easing my way into my 10 week deadlift routine written by Ed Coan.
I’m 19, 210 lbs
Finally able to rep out my grip trainer! I got sick of my grip holding me back on my deadlifts and I wasn’t going to be a puss and use hand tampons (wrist straps)
I’m trying to be positive, so these next 4-8 weeks will be focused on designing routines and dieting
Powerlifting: I will incorporate 3 routines for each of the 3 lifts. Haven’t decided what I’ll do for squat/bench but I’ll do the Coan/Phillipi routine for deadlift.
Bodybuilding: Design routines based loosely on John Meadow’s Mountain Dog Training. These are the routines that finally turned Antoine Vaillant’s body into one so great that he could get his pro card. Plus, I enjoy the intensity of them.
Not sure on how often I’ll lift. At least 6 days a week. I will have my Summer of Shredded!
My goals for this summer after I get over mono are:
Total over 1400 lbs under 220 lbs bodyweight
Be shredded as fack!
And tomorrow, my lifting buddies and I shall deadlift until we crack holes in the Earth straight to hell!

Best part was seeing how insecure and pissed off these men would get after they’d lose! The douchebags wouldn’t even shake my hand!
I’m just a little 19 year old child, I’m too innocent to get pissed off about losing!
2nd Place in the Heavyweight Division Arm Wrestling Tournament! Hahaha I just entered for fun thinking I’d lose first round since I’ve never arm wrestled before! Lost in the championship to my cousin Kyle, a 6’6” 300+lb monster :D
I love it when you’re done with your workout and can now screw around with weights. Powerlifting/bodybuilding has been such a fun experience.
